HIRING: Performance Marketing Manager
Rella — Remote | Full-Time
💜 About Rella
Rella is an all-in-one AI project management platform built for social media marketers and teams. We're a small, fast-moving, and profitable startup founded by creators and operators who know the pain points of managing content, clients, and campaigns firsthand. Our mission is to make managing social media easier and be the go-to tool for content-driven project management.
💻 The Role
We're hiring a hands-on Performance Marketing Manager to own our entire paid acquisition engine in-house. You'll replace our current agency relationship and take full ownership of paid media across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and beyond — from strategy to execution to reporting.
You'll be in Ads Manager, building landing pages in Framer, running lifecycle experiments in Customer.io, and analyzing conversion funnels in PostHog. You care as much about what happens after the click as the click itself.
Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 + equity depending on experience and location
Location: Remote (must be able to work EST hours)
Reports To: Co-Founder and CEO
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Paid Media
Run all paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels end-to-end
Own budget allocation, audience targeting, bidding strategy, and campaign structure
Test and iterate on creative formats, hooks, and ad copy — briefing our content and UGC creators on what to produce based on data
Identify and scale what works; cut what doesn't — quickly
Analytics and Attribution
Own PostHog as your source of truth — cost per trial, trial-to-paid conversion by source, ROAS by channel, and funnel drop-off analysis
Set up and maintain event tracking and attribution so every paid dollar is accounted for
Work directly with our tech team to ensure cross-platform tracking is clean and reliable
Deliver clear weekly reporting to leadership — no black boxes, no vanity metrics
Email Campaigns and Lifecycle
Use Customer.io to build and optimize email sequences and segments for trial users coming in from paid channels
Collaborate with the product team to design paid-to-trial to trial-to-paid flows that convert
Run experiments on onboarding nudges, upgrade prompts, and lifecycle messaging tied to ad audience segments
Landing Pages and CRO
Build and iterate on landing pages in Framer — fast, scrappy, and on-brand
A/B test copy, CTAs, and offers to improve trial signup and conversion rates
Optimize the full journey from ad impression to paid subscriber
Audience and Market Intelligence
Develop a deep understanding of our ICP: social media managers, agencies, in-house marketing teams, and entrepreneurs
Segment audiences by platform, intent, persona, and cohort
Bring market and audience insights back to the product and content teams
Work alongside our Head of Community on tracking events, workshops, and influencer campaigns
What We're Looking For
You're obsessed with data and deeply curious about what the numbers are actually telling you — not just reporting on them, but using them to form hypotheses, run experiments, and close the loop. You love testing, hate assumptions, and get genuinely excited when an experiment breaks your mental model. At Rella, gut instinct is a starting point, not a conclusion — and this role is for someone who lives that way naturally.
Required
3–5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with at least 2 years at a SaaS company — you've run paid for a subscription or product-led growth business before
Proven track record running paid campaigns on Meta and at least one of TikTok or LinkedIn — with real budget ownership and measurable results
Experience with product analytics tools (PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar) — you can build a funnel report yourself, not just read one
Hands-on experience with a marketing automation or lifecycle tool (Customer.io, HubSpot, or similar)
Comfortable building landing pages in Framer, Webflow, or a comparable no-code tool
Strong analytical instincts — you know the difference between a traffic problem and a conversion problem
You've owned attribution from ad click to paid subscription, and you know how to troubleshoot when it breaks
Nice to Have
Experience marketing to social media managers, creators, or marketing agencies
Familiarity with PostHog or Customer.io specifically
Framer experience specifically
You've been an early marketing hire at a startup before
✅ You'll Find Success Here If:
Treat data as the start of a hypothesis, not the end of a report — you're already running the next test before anyone asks you to
Want full ownership of a channel, not a seat on someone else's roadmap — you'll own paid media end to end, with no agency layer between you and the results
Can move from strategy to execution without waiting on a hand-off — building the landing page, briefing the creative, reading the funnel, and fixing the leak are all yours
Are comfortable being early and working with a small and ambitious team
Like working close to the founders and seeing your work ladder straight up to company-level goals

🌎 100% remote, flexible work environment

🏥 Health & Dental Insurance (U.S. only) — Comprehensive coverage to support your well-being
